Meet the CEO
Mike Budd Jr.
CEO
In approximately 1988, my uncle and father jointly established Budd's Plumbing. After collaborating for a few years, they chose different paths, with my uncle starting a tackle shop and engaging in commercial crabbing, while my father continued to pursue plumbing. I grew up immersed in this trade, benefiting from my father's willingness to impart his skills to me. I was consistently involved in various projects, spanning home renovations, additions, construction, and began working at a young age. My father often emphasized, "If you can envision it, you can build it." This philosophy instilled in me a deep passion for craftsmanship and the sense of achievement that comes from assisting others when they feel overwhelmed.
My father's unwavering commitment to providing the best possible life for my two older sisters, my mother, and myself, along with his strong faith in Jesus Christ, served as a constant source of motivation. He instilled in me the belief that if our work and service did not reflect the values of Christ, it was not worth doing.
Growing up in the trade and witnessing my father's tireless efforts and dedication to our family set me on a firm path toward personal success and that of my family. I married my wonderful wife in 2011 at the age of 23. Despite the skepticism of many who felt we were too young, we were confident that our shared journey was part of God's plan. Over the past 12 years, we have been blessed with four beautiful children. In this chaotic world, we strive to guide our children on the right path through our actions and work.
We make a concerted effort to share our passions with our children, including outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding, and collaborative building projects. As a team, we believe it is crucial for our children to understand the value of hard work from a young age and to appreciate the satisfaction that comes with completing tasks. We embrace the wisdom of Proverbs 10:4, "Idle hands make one poor, but diligent hands bring riches," and endeavor to instill this principle in our children's lives.
